Doped remix of Trashmen’s Surfing Bird by the band from St. Petersburg, Russia.

From Hamburg, one of the first punk/neu welle band from Germany here in a classic of the German Theater Kabarett.

07) Bastion – Deca Sunca from Bastion – Bastion – Produkcija Gramofonskih Ploča Radio Televizije Beograd (1984, LP)
From Skopje, Macedonia (one of the many states of former Yugoslavia) a great new-wave, synth-pop band. One of the founder, Kiril Džajkovski, became later an appreciated movie score composer.

08) Abwärts – Computerstaat from Abwärts – Computerstaat – Zick Zack (1980, 7” EP)
"Stalingrad, Stalingrad Deutschlands Katastrophenstaat Wir leben im Computerstaat" (Stalingrad, Stalingrad the city of the German catastrophe – we live in a computer state) few of the optimistic lyrics of this manifesto song.

From Munich, Germany – exponents of the more amused wing of the Deutsche Neue Welle in their most successful song with the silliest lyrics ever. Occasionally still active.

Orginally by the Health, the 8-bit devoted Canadian duo Crystal Castles turns it into a spooky electro-punk side.

Funny lyrics. Pino describes his clumsy attempt to to pick up a kinky little girl while dancing on the dance floor; apparently with success.

Sweet afro groove from Benin.
